We filmed the Dewater and Rewater of the MacArthur Lock. This task is normally done in winter
when the shipping season is over.
A very tough task when battling the winter winds and snows of the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
This video is dedicated to the men and women of the Corps of Engineers.
We add our names to those who've walked the bottom of the Lock !

They are now available for purchase. We are donating a percentage of the
proceeds to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center at the Soo
Locks.
Included below you will find a few samples of the awesome pictures and
video. These shots not only portray a masterpiece of construction and
engineering, but the dedicated men and woman that maintain and repair this
massive facility.
The Soo Area Office is also tasked with maintaining clear and safe passage
from the eastern end of the Mighty Lake Superior to the Straits of Mackinaw.
This work is often accomplished during some of the most extreme weather
and temperatures that the Northern Michigan winter can throw at us.
We understand the importance of this facility, especially in these troubled
times, we support our Brothers and Sisters in arms, and will stand tall to
provide the security and safety of the Locks , our river system and the mighty
freighters that pass through.
America can rely on us, the freighters will get through !
