These shots not only portray a masterpiece of construction and engineering, but the dedicated men and woman that maintain and repair this massive facility. The Soo Area Office is also tasked with maintaining clear and safe passage from the eastern end of the Mighty Lake Superior to the Straits of Mackinaw. This work is often accomplished during some of the most extreme weather and temperatures that the Northern Michigan winter can throw at us. We understand the importance of this facility, especially in these troubled times, we support our Brothers and Sisters in arms, and will stand tall to provide the security and safety of the Locks , our river system and the mighty freighters that pass through. America can rely on us, the freighters will get through ! |

| Our first project was filmed at the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. A combination of still photos and video of incredible sights the general public has never seen before. We filmed the Dewater and Rewater of the MacArthur Lock. This task is normally done in winter when the shipping season is over. |
| A very tough task when battling the winter winds and snows of the Eastern Upper Peninsula. This video is dedicated to the men and women of the Corps of Engineers. We add our names to those who've walked the bottom of the Lock ! |

| Announcing yet another upload to Youtube. The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald "Remember the Edmund" I am no Gordon Lightfoot but my song Remember the Edmund is a tribute to the Wreck, the Captain and Crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald, launched on June 8, 1958. Until 1971 she was the largest ship on the Great Lakes. |
| Although she had reported having some difficulties during a gale on Lake Superior the Fitzgerald sank suddenly on November 10, 1975 in 535 feet of water without sending any distress signals. The site of the loss is: in Canadian waters approximately 17 miles from the entrance to Whitefish Bay. All 29 hands in the crew perished, presumably by drowning. The incident is the most famous disaster in the history of Great Lakes shipping, and is the subject of Gordon Lightfoots hit song, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. |
